Visualization Analysis of Global Self-Regulated Learning Status, Hotspots, and Future Trends Based on Knowledge Graph

Self-regulated learning (SRL) has been an important topic in the field of global educational psychology research since last century, and its emergence is related to researchers’ reflections on several reforms. To better study history developmental trend SRL, this work, Web Science core collection database was used as a sample source, “self-regulated learning” searched theme, 1218 SSCI documents were collected from 30 September 1986, 2022. We CiteSpace software visualize analyze number publications, countries, institutions, researchers, keywords, highly cited literature, authors’ co-citations, keyword clustering, timeline self-regulated research, draw maps. It found that articles first published American Journal Educational Research learning-related received increasing attention recent decades, wherein roughly divided into three periods: budding period 1986 2002, flat development 2003 2009, rapid 2010 The papers United States, China, Australia, Germany relatively high, Spain low compared with States. During period, University North Carolina States McGill Canada institutions most publications; Azevedo Roger Lajoie Susanne P most-published scholars research; journal publication highest impact factor Computers Education; primary interests mainly focused Performance, Strategy, Students, Achievement, Motivation, Metacognition. Furthermore, most-cited SRL Formative assessment learning: model seven principles good feedback practice.
